Friday 5th July - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and wet.

Friday is Maeva day and we usually walk around to pick her up but rain meant we had to pick her up in the van, I then drove down Gulpher Lane to Felixsrtowe Ferry were golfers were out I force despite the wet, I took a few pics at the jetty as the ferry came in, I am sure there will not be many customers today but for the second time this month I got a pic on BBC’s Look East:) Sadly Maeva was not 100%, she was full of chat in the van but quickly dozed off on Mags lap and is off her food, some calpol worked its magic:) Then after lunch and no rain we decided to take Maeva home the long way, down to Felixstowe prom we had a head wind as we headed towards The Manor with some menacing but we only got a few spots of rain. We got out of the wind when we turned down Beach Road via Lidl and up onto Maidstone Road where we got our first rain, lucky I had our multi coloured umbrella. With Maeva home we continued home running into some heavy rain, Mag got soaked and knackered after walking 4.50 miles! Tomorrows weather is looking a little better, sunshine and showers with a good windsurfing foiling breeze:)
